Jai Dulani

Jai Dulani is a Desi queer activist, writer and multi-media artist. His writing has appeared in SAMAR, bustingbinaries, Teachers & Writers, Black Girl Dangerous, and the anthology, “Experiments in a Jazz Aesthetic.” Dulani has been a Kundiman Fellow, a VONA/ Voices Fellow, and a BCAT/ Rotunda Gallery Multi-Media Artist-in-Residence. As an Open City fellow for the Asian American Writers Workshop, he covered issues of gentrification, policing, immigrant detention & deportation, and community organizing in Jackson Heights, Queens. With Ching-In Chen and Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, he is co-editor of the anthology The Revolution Starts At Home: Confronting Intimate Violence in Activist Communities.
